For all the Swifties who manifested a new Taylor Swift album during the opening of the Lion’s Gate, you’re in luck! Queen TayTay has just announced a whole new album alongside a new ~glamorous~ era.
Taking to the New Heights podcast — hosted by her man Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce — Swift revealed that she will be dropping her latest music project, The Life Of A Showgirl.
She began the cheeky announcement by bringing out a mint green suitcase branded with her initials “TS”. After unbuckling the bad boy, Swift held up an album cover (unfortunately blurred), confirming TS12.
“This is my brand new album, Life Of A Showgirl,” she smiled before the sporting bros yelled in excitement.

Alongside the ‘yuge announcement, Swift’s US website has now opened pre-orders of the album in cassette, CD and vinyl form. In a double blow, the album art is still covered, and the pre-orders are only available for US customers at the time of writing.
“Actual product artwork will be announced at a future date,” text reads alongside the product description.

It’s also not known when the new album will drop. However, each product states that it will be shipped before October 13, 2025, so we can speculate that it’ll be released before then!

Not much has been said about the project, but my gut is telling me to tune into the next New Heights podcast episode, which will feature Swift and this album announcement.
The Life Of A Showgirl comes months after she officially bought all the masters to her first six albums, to which she revealed that she’s re-recorded a quarter of Reputation (Taylor’s Version).
“I know, I know. What about Rep TV?” she wrote in her May announcement.
“Full transparency: I haven’t even rerecorded a quarter of it. The Reputation album was so specific to that time in my life, and I kept hitting a stopping point when I tried to remake it.”
It’s truly a golden year to be a Swiftie ‘cos mama is feeding y’all well.
