In a tale as old as time, Austin Butler and Zoë Kravitz have sparked dating rumours after starring as love interests in their latest film, Caught Stealing.
The pair were spotted getting up close and personal in a club in Paris following the French premiere of Darren Aronofsky‘s crime thriller. According to some sneaky pap pics obtained by Page Six — which you can see HERE — the co-stars can be seen enjoying a drink together in the dimly lit bar before sharing a cosy hug.
While a drink and a hug could mean nothing, an insider told the Daily Mail that Butler, 34, and Kravitz, 36, have some serious chemistry.
“There’s definitely chemistry between them and they’re loving spending time together promoting the movie,” the source claimed.
The insider noted that the connection between them is “not quite a fully fledged romance” but said that “Austin hasn’t been friend-zoned either”.
“Working together on the film was intense as the director Darren Aronofsky is known for pushing his actors,” they continued.
“Getting to spend time together without that pressure has been the reward for them both.”
While Kravitz and Butler have yet to comment on the rumoured relationship, the Daily Mail source said that the Elvis star’s friends “would not be surprised” if they became an item.
Both Butler and Kravitz have recently become single after their respective long-term relationships came to an end. Back in October last year, the High Fidelity actress called it quits with her fiancé, Channing Tatum.
Meanwhile, Butler split with his girlfriend of three years, model and actor Kaia Gerber, in January.
So, do I think Kravitz and Butler are really dating? It’s impossible to know for sure. What I do know is that a rumoured romance is great for film sales… and they’re both hot.
If I were single and attending countless promo events with my extremely attractive single co-star, I think I’d test the romantic waters too — even if it is just for a fling and not a full-blown relationship.
