US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Thursday announced nearly $20 million in security assistance to Ecuador and the terrorist designations of two gangs to help the country tackle soaring crime.
Vowing more efforts by President Donald Trump against the “vicious animals” in criminal groups, Rubio told a news conference: “This administration is confronting it like it’s never been confronted before.”
