Donald Trump favorite Nick Bosa gives worrying signal to NFL crowd after suffering leg injury

49ers star Nick Bosa gave a worrying signal to the crowd on Sunday as he left the field with a knee injury.

The edge rusher got hurt in the first quarter after trying to get to Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray, as two Arizona offensive linemen pushed away from the passer and to the floor.

And Bosa quickly knew his injury was bad news, as he gave a thumbs-down gesture to somebody in the crowd as he walked off.

He was seen lying on the ground moments before on the sideline as he received medical attention.

The 49ers ultimately ruled him out of the game with a knee injury, though coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters afterwards that Bosa had not suffered an ACL tear.

It’s yet another injury blow for San Francisco, who were without several key contributors for Sunday’s game.

Quarterback Brock Purdy remained sidelined by a sprained left shoulder and turf toe and receiver Jauan Jennings sat out with shoulder and ankle injuries of his own.

Tight end George Kittle has also been out since Week 1 after injuring his hamstring.

Bosa, 27, earned praise from Donald Trump last year after celebrating a sack with the president’s signature ‘Trump dance.’

‘NICK BOSA IS A GREAT PLAYER,’ Trump wrote on Truth Social afterwards.

The defender has proudly supported Trump, as he wore a MAGA hat on TV after a game last season.

However, that move ultimately landed him a $11,255 fine, as the NFL has a rule prohibiting players from displaying political messages.

The former Ohio State star has established himself as one of the best pass rushers in the league since being drafted in 2019.

His 64.5 sacks in that span are the fourth-most in the league – behind only T.J. Watt, Myles Garrett and Trey Hendrickson.

Bosa had already racked up two sacks this season before injuring himself in Week 3.
