Sydney Sweeney, Kate Hudson, Jamie Lee Curtis, Wanda Sykes and Nicole Scherzinger walked the red carpet to pose for pics and talk to the media before being honored at Variety‘s Power of Women 2025, presented by Lifetime.
“I’m a bit taken aback and a bit humbled to be here tonight,” Scherzinger told Variety’s Angelique Jackson as she made her way down the carpet at the Beverly Hills Hotel. “It’s beautiful.”
Kate Hudson reflected on her friendships with women. “I don’t know what I would be without my girlfriends,” she said. “I feel way more powerful with them, which I think is always an important thing to remember. We constantly remind each other of how much power we hold, how much light we hold.”
Sharon Stone was on hand to present to Sweeney. “It’s OK to use what your mama gave you,” said Stone, who appears opposite Sweeney in the upcoming third and final season of “Euphoria.”
The “Casino” Oscar nominee then smiled: “You know, it’s hard to be hot… It’s really OK to use every bit of hotness you have right here right now.”
