Consumers have been warned not to open a popular beer over fears the can could burst.
The Little Creatures Little Hazy lager has been urgently pulled from the shelves across the country over fears of excess carbonation.
It was available for purchase at Dan Murphy’s and BWS stores in NSW, Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia.
They were also available for purchase at IGA and independent liquor shops in NSW and Coles in WA.
Lion said in a statement the products affected may contain excess alcohol and carbonation, which can lead to over-pressurisation of the can.
This may cause the can to burst, potentially resulting in injury.
Consumers have been told to not open or drink the product.
‘Please dispose of it safely,’ a statement read.
