Hailey Bieber just gets it. Ever since launching Rhode back in 2022, she has curated a line-up of skincare and make-up products with science-backed formulas that work quietly to strengthen the skin barrier. And in contrast to the usual celebrity-priced offerings (we’re looking at you, Victoria Beckham), Rhode’s products are affordable too – the most expensive, the Barrier Butter, comes in at just £36.
What products are worth buying from Rhode?
Until today, the only small snag was that Rhode was only available for purchase through the website rhodeskin. But Bieber’s brand is now officially available to shop at sephora.co.uk, the Sephora UK app and in all Sephora stores across the UK. To help you navigate the line-up, I’ve selected seven of my favourite products below…
The best Rhode products to shop at Sephora
I don’t use a traditional moisturiser – I go straight in with a face sunscreen – but in the colder months my skin benefits from a little extra hydration. The Rhode Glazing Milk, along with the Ilia Base Face Milk (£58), are two of my favourite products to use as a hydrating base.
A superfine face mist formulated with skin barrier-soothing and strengthening ingredients such as ectoin, ceramides and panthenol. I like to spray this on my face after I’ve applied the glazing milk and before I put on an SPF50 for a boost of hydration – and a little extra glow.
If I wasn’t already using the two products above, I’d definitely be adding this gel serum into my morning skincare rotation. It’s super lightweight, quick-absorbing and packed with hydrating and brightening ingredients such as peptides, niacinamide and glycerin.
Another great product that will restore and strengthen your skin barrier, this moisture balm has been formulated with a cocktail of ultra-hydrating ingredients that will really lock in the moisture. It’s too heavy for the daytime for me, but a great moisturiser to use at night.
Are these eye patches just a skincare gimmick? Maybe. But they sure feel nice under the eye, especially if you keep them in the fridge. And in Bieber’s defence, they are formulated with depuffing and brightening ingredients such as caffeine, peptides and glycerin.
I’ve never found a lip pencil that’s closer to the colour of my lips than the shade Lift (a soft neutral pink). The super creamy formula also means it moisturises your lips (a lot of lip liners can be quite drying) and is easy to apply. My only note would be that it doesn’t last very long.
This dinky blush stick remains my favourite product of the brand. The shade Freckle is perfect for those ‘no-makeup’ makeup days; it practically melts into the skin, is super easy to blend and leaves a healthy, peachy glow on my cheekbones.
