Amanda Bynes Denies Rumour Of Teen Pregnancy With Nickelodeon Producer Dan Schneider
Former Nickelodeon star Amanda Bynes has debunked an internet rumour that claimed she was impregnated by disgraced Nickelodeon producer Dan Schneider at the age of 13.

The rumours have circulated for some time, but received renewed attention when a TikTok post showed Bynes, known for the Nickelodeon series The Amanda Show, taking a selfie alongside the text: “the man I got pregnant with him at the age of 13!”.
When the now-deleted post went viral, fans assumed it was shared by Bynes herself in reference to the long-running rumour around her supposed teenage pregnancy.
But the actress has now promptly shut down the speculation, describing the TikTok post as “lies for clickbait” when asked by TMZ. According to the outlet, Bynes said the doctored clip was ripped from an actual video she shared to her Instagram Stories, which was then edited with the inaccurate text.
Bynes was unaware of who shared the edited post, but it was originally linked to a TikTok account with the username @AmandaBynesUpdates before it was deleted.
Rumours of Bynes’ pregnancy intensified last year, when Schneider — who produced some of Nickelodeon’s most popular shows like iCarly, Drake & Josh and Zoey 101 — was featured in a documentary tracing the numerous allegations emerging out of Nickelodeon.
Titled Quiet on Set, the doco recounted Schneider’s time at the children’s TV network with testimonies from The Amanda Show writers Christy Stratton and Jenny Kilgen.
The pair accused Schneider of underpaying them and presiding over a rampant culture of misogyny on the set of The Amanda Show.
Bynes did not address Quiet On Set at the time it aired, though her Nickelodeon peers like Josh Peck, Victoria Justice and Ariana Grande each responded to the doco.
In recent years, Bynes — elsewhere known for She’s The Man and Easy A — has made headlines for joining OnlyFans, venturing into rap music, and launching a fashion and fragrance line.
