
A packed Jetstar flight to Canberra with almost 200 passengers onboard has been forced to divert to Sydney.
Emergency services were called to the airport in Mascot about 2.20pm on Friday, with NSW Police confirming that the aircraft landed safely.
No injuries have been reported.
Flight JQ650 from Coolangatta was scheduled to arrive in Canberra at 2.50pm but was forced to divert after an unusual smell was detected in the cabin.
No injuries have been reported.
Jetstar said they are still working to determine the source of the smell.
