Seething Philadelphia Eagles fans BOO their own team throughout miserable half against Chicago Bears

Philadelphia Eagles fans made their feelings clear on Friday, repeatedly booing their own team throughout the first half of their game against the Chicago Bears.

The atmosphere at Lincoln Financial Field turned hostile early in the game when former Eagles running back D’Andre Swift punched in a touchdown from close range to give the Bears a 7-0 lead.

Jalen Hurts and the unit managed to put just three points on the board via a Jake Elliott field goal early in the second quarter but failed to find the end zone as the atmosphere grew more toxic.

Frustration peaked when Bears kicker Cairo Santos extended the visitors’ lead to 10-3 with six minutes remaining in the half.

Despite an 8-3 record, patience is thin in Philadelphia, with the fan base still reacting to last week’s loss against division rivals, the Dallas Cowboys.
