Jacob Elordi had a stern message for a photographer dogging him in a French train station, telling him the constant following “make[s] it really hard for me to live”.

The heated exchange took place at the Gare du Nord train station in Paris earlier this week. In footage of the moment, the Frankenstein star is seen weaving through the station while being trailed by a bunch of photographers.
It was when one of the photographers, Amar Taoualit, said he “love[s] you” that things took a turn. “I don’t love you,” Elordi said after taking out his headphones.
“You make it really hard for me to live when you do this,” he added. Elordi doubled-down on the sentiment before heading into an elevator, saying, “you make it really hard for me to live, all of you. You make it really hard for me.”
Elordi has opened up about his complex relationship with fame in the past. Last month, he compared the overnight success he achieved from his breakout role in The Kissing Booth to the movie The Truman Show, saying he “woke up into a completely different world”.
“The internet is insane. It was so frightening. I could feel the internet manifesting in the real world. I would go out to my coffee shop, and all of a sudden I felt like I was in The Truman Show,” Elordi said.
Last year, Elordi allegedly got into a dust-up with another intrusive media employee when reports claimed he had a confrontation with a KISS FM radio host at a pub in Sydney.
In September, the Saltburn star was caught clapping back at a security guard while walking the red carpet at Venice Film Festival, telling him to “never tell me what to do”.
Despite these heated interactions as a result of his fame, Elordi has said that his role in Frankenstein changed his perception of his place in Hollywood.
“Every day since making that movie, in this industry I’ve felt a kind of great calm that I’m in the right place, I’m meant to be here,” Elordi said.
The actor’s next project, Wuthering Heights, will see him join forces with fellow Aussie Margot Robbie for an adaptation of the original book that has already courted major controversy.
