Horror as body is found in Sydney’s ritzy eastern suburbs – as police launch urgent investigation

Police have launched an investigation after a body was discovered inside an apartment building in Sydney’s eastern suburbs on Friday morning.
Emergency services were called to the residential complex shortly after 9am, at an address near to the Coogee Bay Boutique Hotel and Rick Stein’s new restaurant.
Upon entering the building, officers located a deceased person inside the apartment.
A crime scene was established, with police cordons in place as forensic specialists began examining the area.
The apartment building remained blocked off to the public as inquiries continued throughout the morning.
Detectives from the local command, assisted by specialist forensic officers, were also at the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the death.
It’s believed the death is being treated as non-suspicious.
