From a lengthy public statement to deleted TikToks, the Beckham family feud is in full throttle, and insiders have claimed that the famous family are willing to reconcile with Brooklyn Beckham under one condition.
In case you’ve been rawdogging life without entertainment gossip, the Beckham family are currently in the middle of a massive feud, with Victoria and David Beckham‘s eldest child, Brooklyn, publicly airing out their beef via a lengthy IG statement.
Since then, entertainment gossip fiends have been foaming at the mouth for any drops of tea regarding the rough family rift, and folks who are close to the drama — including the DJ of Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz‘s wedding — have seemingly chucked their two cents in on what’s going down.
As the drama continues to dominate entertainment news headlines, insiders have claimed that the Beckham family are keen on patching things up with Brooklyn, but not with his wife, Nicola.
According to an insider who claims to be close to Victoria and David, the power couple are “afraid of losing their son”, telling PEOPLE magazine, “they would take him back in a minute”. However, the source claims they don’t feel the same about their daughter-in-law.
“The Beckhams have no intention of reconciling with their son unless Nicola is out of the picture,” the source said.
“But that’s not an ultimatum he’s going to cave on. Brooklyn has felt more support from his wife in these past three years than from his parents in his entire life.”
Despite this, a source who claims to be close to Brooklyn told the publication that he and Nicola “are so beaten down” by the drama reportedly caused by Victoria and David, adding that the internet chef has “received endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent to the press on their orders.”
Regardless, another source added that David and Victoria reckon they’ll reconnect with Brooklyn in the future, but not anytime soon.
“David and Victoria believe that over time, Brooklyn will come back. But they can’t do anything until then,” the insider said.
At the time of writing, neither the Beckham family nor Brooklyn nor Nicola have confirmed these claims.
The Beckham family feud reached the public when Brooklyn shared a six-page IG Story that was rife with accusations against his family earlier this month.
In the scathing post, Brooklyn claimed Victoria backed out on plans regarding Nicola’s wedding dress “in the eleventh hour” and accused his mother of hijacking the big day.
This includes the claim that Victoria replaced Nicola for a dance with the groom, to which she allegedly “danced inappropriately on [Brooklyn] in front of everyone”.
Elsewhere in the six-page rant, Brookly claimed his famous folks “repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe” him into “signing away the rights to” his name ahead of his nuptials with the actress.
“My holdout affected the payday, and they have never treated me the same since,” Brooklyn wrote.
David has seemingly responded to the post, telling CNBC’s Squawk Box that he’s tried to “educate” his kids on being online and having a platform.
“They make mistakes. Children are allowed to make mistakes. That’s how they learn. So that’s what I try to teach my kids. But you know, you have to sometimes let them make those mistakes as well,” the pro-footballer said without naming Brooklyn.
Cruz and Romeo Beckham, alongside their girlfriends, Kim Turnbull and Jackie Apostel, seemingly clapped back at Brooklyn and Nicola with a now-deleted TikTok.
In the TikTok, the group were seen lip-syncing to a wordless popular TikTok sound alongside the caption, “Imagine hating and we’re just like here like”.
With the video being pulled from the internet, punters reckon this was some kind of shade thrown at their eldest brother.
As for Victoria, the Spice Girl turned fashion designer has remained silent on the scathing allegations made against her.
