I’m A Celebrity 2026 Reportedly Express Frustration In Group Chat

You know how I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is supposed to end with a wholesome campfire vibe, some tears, a crown, and everyone pretending they didn’t just psychologically unravel on national television?

Yeah, not this year. While the show might’ve wrapped filming in late December, insiders say the real jungle drama is happening where it always does: the cast group chat.

And apparently, it’s not giving “miss you guys” energy.

It’s giving rage, resentment and a postseason meltdown over eliminations that some celebs reckon were downright humiliating. Insiders have also said some cast members are speculating that the elimination challenges were “rigged” — a claim Network 10 has since shut down.

Network 10 slams claims I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! 2026 elimination challenges were ‘manipulated’

In a statement to PEDESTRIAN.TV, a spokesperson for Network 10 swiftly shut down whispers that this year’s I’m A Celeb elimination challenges were “manipulated”, labelling the claims as “not true”.

“We’ve heard a few rumours rustling through the jungle vines, so let’s set the record straight. Claims that eliminations on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! are rigged are simply not true,” the spokesperson said.

“This year’s format shakes things up, with campmates themselves voting on who they’d like to put forward for challenges. Those choices come straight from camp; no producer meddling, no hidden levers, and no secret jungle tricks.

“What unfolds in the jungle is driven by real decisions, real dynamics, and the unpredictable nature of camp life.”

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! 2026 cast reportedly rage in private group chat

According to sources, several stars from the 2026 cast are furious over what they’re calling “pathetic” elimination challenges, claiming the new format booted people out unfairly and completely changed the game.

“The group chat has basically turned into a post-season debrief, and some people are genuinely angry,” one celebrity dished to PEDESTRIAN.TV.

Nothing bonds reality stars like shared trauma, and nothing destroys that bond faster than someone saying, “Actually, I was robbed.”

Insiders say the anger centres around one major shake-up this season and that some eliminations weren’t driven by public vote vibes or classic jungle endurance.

Instead, producers leaned into “quirky” performance-based challenges. You know, those tasks that look fun on TV but were a major slog, especially when your entire reputation is on the line and apparently, it wasn’t just a tweak. Some cast members believe it changed everything.

“They’re saying it’s not what I’m A Celebrity has traditionally been,” the insider claims. “They expected jungle trials, endurance and the public deciding who stays. Not random gimmicks that can send someone home for one tiny mistake.”

The rumoured I’m A Celeb elimination challenge that ‘lit the match’

According to insiders, the biggest flashpoint was a recall-based elimination challenge. Where a celeb was reportedly knocked out after failing to remember a conversation they’d had earlier in the season.

And that one moment? It reportedly lit the match that’s now burning down the group chat.

“He couldn’t remember a detail from a conversation during an elimination challenge, and it cost him,” the insider says. “He felt humiliated.”

Sources say the celeb has been vocal about it, arguing that the challenge wasn’t about strength, survival or social game and that it was just a weird memory test that could’ve ended anyone.

“He pointed out that plenty of the biggest names, including past winners, would’ve failed too,” the insider claimed, adding that the star was allegedly throwing other celebs under the bus, using them as examples of who would fail the challenge.

“He basically said, ‘Would Fiona O’Loughlin have remembered what she said on day one? No chance!’” the insider added.

“He said, ‘I don’t even know Skye Wheatley but I doubt she would’ve made it to the finale if she was tested on recalling facts either’,” the insider continued.

Imagine being Skye and catching a stray in someone else’s post-show spiral. Brutal.

The delayed broadcast made it worse because the cast is reliving it week by week.

Another twist? This season was filmed months ago, but it’s only now airing, which means cast members are watching everything unfold in real time with the public, and insiders say that’s reopening wounds.

“Normally, the celebs are in the jungle live and not taking notes of the way everything went down,” our source claimed.

“They’re reliving it week by week,” the source added. “It’s bringing up feelings all over again.”

Reportedly, some celebs are now obsessing over how certain exits were edited, framed and explained and whether the audience will agree they were unfairly booted. Producers insist it wasn’t rigged. It was just ‘different’.

Insiders say production is standing firm that the season wasn’t manipulated and every challenge was fair.

“They’re pushing back hard on any suggestion it was manipulated,” the insider claims.

Their argument? The show is entertainment first, and the format needed to evolve.

“They’re saying the eliminations needed to be compelling, surprising and different,” the insider claimed. However, the cast isn’t letting it go and some think it changed the entire outcome.

Here’s the real tea. Insiders say the anger isn’t just about one person being salty. It’s multiple people. Some genuinely believe the new elimination format shifted the entire trajectory of the season, including who the winner may be.

“One person said it felt like they were eliminated for being human. Not because they were the worst in camp,” the source claims. And now the question is about to divide viewers, too. Because while some fans will love the chaos and cliffhangers… others might agree the new eliminations feel less like “jungle survival” and more like “random punishment wheel”.

“It’s going to spark a debate,” the insider says. “Were these eliminations entertaining or were they unfair?”

So far, no one from the 2026 cast has spoken publicly about the eliminations or the elimination challenges. But regardless, I’ll always froth whispers of a nasty AF group chat thread. I’m a celebrity, get me in the chat!!!
