Married At First Sight season two bride Erin Bateman confirms split with Bryce Mohr: ‘Didn’t survive’
Married At First Sight season two star Erin Bateman has broken her silence on her split from fellow TV groom Bryce Mohr.
The former reality TV star, 36, took to TikTok on Wednesday to confirm that the pair, who were matched on the show in 2016, are no longer together.
In the video, Erin revealed the split was the ‘worst breakup’ she’d ever endured and that it had taken her several years to enjoy watching MAFS again.
‘Put a finger down if you were on a reality TV show 10 years ago that led to the worst breakup of your adult life, so bad that you almost didn’t survive it,’ she began in the video.
‘And then it took you several years to be able to watch and enjoy said show again, because every time you watched it, each year that it rolled around, you felt worse and worse and worse because it reminded you of the breakup that nearly killed you.’
Erin added that she hadn’t posted any photos of Bryce on her social media since 2019.

Despite the breakup being traumatic, Erin noted in the caption of the video that she has ‘healed’.
Daily Mail reported in 2024 that it was understood the pair had gone their separate ways and were leading separate lives away from the spotlight.
The notoriously private reality TV couple haven’t posted any recent photos together on social media.
Erin rose to fame in 2016 on series two of MAFS, where she was paired with Bryce.
They were one of the longest-surviving Married At First Sight couples from the TV experiment.
But last year it was reported that they appeared to have split and are leading separate lives away from the spotlight.
Erin is now a food blogger and uses her Instagram page to share vegan recipes with her dedicated followers.
Meanwhile, Bryce is enjoying a quieter life and previously shared a photo with another woman.

The image, posted in August 2023, shows the pair enjoying a dessert while exploring a local market.
Back in 2018, Erin and Bryce confirmed they had broken up briefly, but were an item once again.
‘It hasn’t been a 100 per cent smooth-sailing journey, but we’re definitely still together,’ Erin told NW magazine at the time.
‘We have on and offs just like anybody else [but] at the end of the day we are still together,’ Bryce added.
Erin stated, despite public scrutiny over the low-key couple’s mysterious relationship status, she didn’t believe they ‘owed people an explanation after two years’.
She acknowledged that after they finished taping their season of Married At First Sight, they ‘still didn’t know each other’, and thus decided to take things slowly.
