NFL star jumped outside of New York hotel in terrifying scene as police launch investigation

Cleveland Browns star Ronnie Hickman was reportedly jumped by a group of men outside a Lower East Side hotel in New York on Monday.

According to The New York Post, Hickman was confronted by four men in the lobby of the SIXTY LES hotel just after 4:30am.

A dispute is then said to have broken out and the suspects attacked Hickman, 24, before making off.

Hickman is a New Jersey native and enjoying some downtime after the Browns finished their NFL season in January.

The Post claim police are investigating whether the group knew Hickman was an NFL player.

The former Ohio State player was taken to Bellevue Hospital and is in stable condition. It’s claimed he was released later on Monday.
