Although Married At First Sight (MAFS) fans are still reeling over Rachel Gilmore‘s ultimate fantasy night fail, viewers are now taking aim at Steve Powell for his disrespect towards sexologist Alessandra Rampolla.

ICYMI, ultimate fantasy night has sent two couples into a tizzy: Rachel and Steven Danyluk, and Steve and Rebecca Zukowski.
While Steve’s brutal rejection of Rachel had the internet buzzing, Rebecca was also rejected by Steve. You see, Steve refused to participate in Rebecca’s date night, which gave sexy businesswoman roleplay vibes.
“It’s just not for me,” Steve said to Rebecca.
In Tuesday night’s episode, the grooms had the opportunity to unpack the “benefits” of intimacy night.
But instead of being honest about refusing Rebecca’s task, Steve kinda bullshitted his way through the discussion, claiming to Alessandra that not doing the task had strengthened their bond.
Scott McCristal called Steve out, explaining that Rebecca was actually keen to wear the lingerie and build up their intimacy as his wife, Gia Fleur, was shopping with her.
“I didn’t say don’t do it, I just said it would make me uncomfortable,” Steve clapped back.
The groom then went on to explain that they had a falling out after ultimate fantasy night, and that he accused Rebecca of not only being on the show for love, even though that’s what she claimed.
When Alessandra tried to ask him a bunch of questions, such as “Are you attracted to her?”, Steve struggled to answer the questions. As a result, our resident sexologist called him out, admitting that it felt like he tried to “skirt around” her questions.
“I don’t have an earpiece in my ear, I’m not waiting for someone to tell me what to say,” Steve said in response, garnering a reaction from his fellow grooms, Alessandra and the internet.
“It’s appalling… really, tread lightly, I don’t take to this well,” Alessandra clapped back before fellow groom Filip Gregov said the “earpiece comment wasn’t warranted”.

Naturally, MAFS fans have backed Alessandra, especially after that “earpiece” comment, while others have piled on Steve for the disrespect.
Fans also praised this year’s grooms for standing up to Steve and his confusing AF behaviour.
All I’ve gotta say is… What’s going on with all the “Steve/Stevens” in the experiment????
