MAGA allies rally round Savannah Chrisley after The View fans threatened to boycott over her hosting
Savannah Chrisley has attracted support from MAGA allies after fans of the ABC show threatened to boycott over her guest co-host spot.
The controversial 28-year-old reality television star sparked outrage at the top of the week after it was announced she would be joining Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sara Haines and Sunny Hostin for four episodes.
As Chrisley made her debut on February 17, many viewers threatened to stop watching the program until her stint comes to an end on February 20.
But despite the huge uproar, which remains ongoing, Chrisley has gained public support from outspoken Republican personalities – including President Donald Trump’s White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt.
Following Chrisley’s first appearance, Leavitt, 28, showed her backing by commenting on a photograph from the episode that was shared to Instagram.
The snap featured Chrisley dressed in a sharp brown pinstripe pantsuit and yellow pussy bow blouse.
Alongside a cheering and red love heart emoji, Leavitt commented: ‘Love this look!’
Trump’s former press secretary Sean Spicer also appeared to be a fan and added an applause emoji under a separate post that showcased Chrisley’s time on The View.

The reality TV star, 28, will be a fixture on the ABC panel show through until February 20
Chrisley’s parents Todd and Julie Chrisley were famously pardoned by President Trump last year, which has fueled her divisiveness.
Todd and Julie were found guilty in July 2022 of conspiring to defraud community banks out of more than $30 million in fraudulent loans.
They were also found guilty of tax evasion by hiding their earnings while showcasing an extravagant lifestyle.
At the time of their pardon, the ladies on The View did not seem too thrilled by the decision and criticized the President’s choice on air, calling it dishonest and unethical.
Chrisley has been very vocal about her support for President Trump and even campaigned for him during the 2024 presidential race.
During her first View appearance on February 17, she defended the Trump administration over the Epstein files and RFK Jr’s health policies.
She claimed that the Department of Justice had been ‘transparent’ in its release of documents related to the pedophile and said the Clintons should agree to a private deposition.
‘The Clintons are, in fact, trying to twist things and get sound bites from a public hearing,’ she said.

During Wednesday’s episode, Chrisley faced an embarrassing on-air correction after she claimed Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is the Democratic party’s chosen candidate for the next presidential election.
The panel hit back upon hearing the incorrect claim and clarified that AOC has said repeatedly she will not run in 2028.
