Two people are arrested over death of TV star ‘the Lip King’: Police probe whether he was ‘undergoing cosmetic procedure’ before he passed away

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter following the death of a TV star who became known as the ‘Lip King’.
Jordan James Parke, a surgery-obsessed clinic owner who shot to fame on reality TV show Botched, passed away last week leaving his family ‘numb, shocked and heartbroken’.
The 34-year-old was found unconscious in Lincoln Plaza, Canary Wharf, on Wednesday and declared dead shortly before 1pm by emergency services.
Police are investigating whether Parke had undergone a cosmetic treatment before his death.
A man, 43, and a 52-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of manslaughter on Friday and have since been bailed.
It comes a year after he was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter following the death of a mother-of-five who underwent a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) at his clinic.
Parke is understood to have still been on police bail when he died last week.
Further details about Parke’s cause of death are expected to be revealed following a post-mortem.

Parke’s sister paid tribute to him with a post on social media reading: ‘I simply have no words to even comprehend this. This is going to be the hardest post I will ever write.
‘Our beautiful, funny most amazing Jordan James Parke passed away on Wednesday the 18th of February 2026.
‘There will be some unkind messages that will be reposted regarding this heartbreaking news but please if you knew Jordan you will know that none of what will be posted is true and please keep him in your heart.
‘Jordan I have no words to explain the sadness and heartbreak that we are feeling you were our best friend our whole world our everything! We love you more than anything in the world!!
‘There are simply no words to express how grateful that we had you in our lives. The world feels so empty without you. And I don’t know how we are going to carry on.
‘Jordan we love you so much. I hope you are dancing in the sky with Nan and Granda. Goodnight god bless beautiful.’
Having undergone his first procedure aged just 19, Parke’s obsession with the Kardashian family influenced him to go under the knife dozens of times.
He underwent upper eyelid surgery, a lip lift, chin implant and several rounds of liposuction and described himself as ‘The Plastic Surgery Advocate.’
He eventually opened his own clinic, named Studio 23, in Gloucestershire. However, the store was beset by scandal over the death of Alice Baker.
The 33-year-old had checked herself in to undergo a non-surgical BBL on the morning of September 24, 2024, assuming she would be ready for the afternoon school run a few hours later.
But the mother-of-five fell unwell a short time after the procedure and was rushed to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, where she died in the early hours of the following morning.
Her death was believed to have been the first caused by a ‘liquid’ BBL in Britain.
The procedure sees dermal fillers, the same material used to fill lips, directly injected into the buttocks. It is a cheaper alternative to the surgical BBL.
The ‘Lip King’ was arrested by police later that month alongside another suspect on suspicion of manslaughter, but was granted bail with conditions imposed.
Parke continued to operate in the cosmetics industry following his arrest, and was found to have been flogging £200 weight loss jabs and teeth whitening treatment online while boasting about his lavish lifestyle.

It left Ms Baker’s heartbroken family disgusted, with the father of her eldest daughter telling the BBC: ‘He shouldn’t be selling them. It’s as simple as that, I don’t know how he sleeps at night.’
Parke was not a qualified surgeon.
He first appeared on US reality TV series Botched in 2015, but was turned away when he returned to the show in 2019 as doctors revealed a fourth nose job would have involved taking a piece of his rib to widen his nostrils.
He once said: ‘Plastic surgery is like sex. You can’t have it once. You have to have it over and over.
‘And if the surgeon’s good, you keep having it with the same guy. I was once a lip disaster, but now I’m known in England as the Lip King.’
His desire to transform his looks was rooted in an obsession with the aesthetic of the Kardashian family, he told The Mirror in 2016.
‘It’s the whole family [I take inspiration from], but mainly Kim. But I love them all, their looks, the way they dress, they’re just an inspiration.
‘I wanted my chin like Kylie Jenner’s, with a really defined jawline. I love her jawline and she’s got such a sharp chin.’
Alice’s partner Dane Knight previously called for the Government to take action, launching a petition with Save Face to enact Alice’s Law.
In a statement issued at the time, her family said: ‘Alice’s death has left a huge void in our family, one that can never be filled.
‘We are devastated by the overwhelming feeling of grief, loss, and anger because her death should never have been allowed to happen. All we can do now is hope for justice.
‘We are supporting Save Face’s campaign to implement a new law in Alice’s name to ensure that those responsible for her death are held accountable and to prevent any other family from having to endure this awful suffering.’
A Met Police statement said: ‘On Wednesday, 18 February, at 12:38hrs police were called by the London Ambulance Service to reports of an unconscious man on Lincoln Plaza, Canary Wharf.
‘Officers attended alongside paramedics and a 34-year-old man was sadly declared dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
‘After police conducted urgent enquiries, a 43-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman were arrested on Friday, 20 February, on suspicion of manslaughter. They have since been bailed pending further investigation.
His death is currently being treated as unexplained, and an investigation to establish the full circumstances is ongoing.
‘However, officers are reviewing information that suggests the victim may have been undergoing a cosmetic procedure prior to his death. This is an initial line of enquiry at this stage.’
