Another year, another bunch of singles are putting their love lives in the limelight for our entertainment on Married At First Sight (MAFS). But of course, for some of these folks, this isn’t their first rodeo. Here are the MAFS 2026 stars who’ve appeared on TV before.
While MAFS is supposed to be a show about finding love, some have speculated that some participants could be on there for extra clout due to their past in Australia’s entertainment industry.
After all, you can’t argue that MAFS brings in notoriety with all the drama it brings, and some folks have gone on to become mega influencers and podcast hosts. But sometimes, maybe they’re just on MAFS with a side of reality TV history.
So, with some digging, we found out which MAFS 2026 participants have been on TV before.
Which Married At First Sight 2026 Stars have been on TV before?
Scott McCristal

Prior to MAFS, Scott McCristal appeared on not one, not two, but three reality TV shows in Australia. This includes Blind Date in 2018, Holey Moley in 2021 and Million Dollar Island in 2023, which are all now cancelled.
Speaking to PEDESTRIAN.TV about his reality TV past, McCristal admits that he find the accusations of being a clout chaser “hilarious”.
“It’s just funny, because obviously everyone just talks about what they’ve seen in the past. This was a long time ago I did these so-called reality shows, and to be honest, they were just fun games,” the 2026 groom dished.
“It’s not like I was going out dating someone. It’s completely different things, so I don’t really care what anyone says.”
Brook Crompton
Not technically a reality TV show, but polarising 2026 bride Brook Crompton was revealed to have appeared in a Kmart commercial before she bagged on Target during MAFS‘ Dinner Party from hell.
This comes as no surprise as Brook has stated that she worked as a model before appearing on the show. However, it’s quite ironic considering the fact that her friend, Gia Fleur, was making fun of someone for potentially being a Kmart model, only for her to be smack bang in an ad.
David Momoh

It’s without a doubt that David Momoh has many hats. The man is a certified hustler. He raps, he’s a product and eCommerce Manager, and he’s a host of his own dating show.
Pop Or Fall For Love is a YouTube series that follows the popular dating show format in which a line of singles either keep or pop their balloon for the bachelor/bachelorette that walks in the room. Think of it like MAFS, but speed run.
The show isn’t technically on Aussie TV, but it definitely shows that David can handle hosting a show similar to MAFS.
Filip Gregov

Stepping into the world of YouTube, Filip Gregov is also a YouTuber who boasts more than 3.41K subscribers. His videos are mostly about motivation and self-improvement.
Gregoc actually plugged his YouTube during his vows, which initially made his wife, Stella Mickunaite, a little bit weary of his intentions. However, they’re now one of the strongest relationships in the experiment with rumours claiming they’re still together.
Julia Vogl

Before jumping on MAFS, Julia Vogl worked as an entertainment journalist. She previously worked for Network 10’s The Project, where she interviewed major names, including Cher, Jason Momoa, Idris Elba, and many more.
So while it isn’t reality TV, she definitely has the entertainment biz knowledge, and honestly, good for her!
Gia Fleur

In her previous life, Gia Fleur was living her best life in the States! This includes living it up in the Playboy Mansion with Hugh Hefner (e-yuck), and appearing in music videos for French Montana and Nicki Minaj‘s “Freaks”.

Joel Moses

Alongside Brook, intruder Joel Moses is also a model in this year’s experiment who has appeared in campaigns for Soak Bathhouse Alexandria, Royal Botanic Gardens, Meriton North Ryde, Canadian Club, and so much more.
In fact, you can check his modelling and commercial history on his StarNow page, where he describes himself as a “larger-than-life personality” who has “natural charisma”.
He is represented by WINK Models and KHOO Management.
Sam Stanton

As well as conducting a successful spin class business, intruder Sam Stanton is also a model for Finesse Models.
He has previously appeared in campaigns for Fossick The Label, Knobby Underwear, Mazzuchelli’s Christmas Campaign 2023 and SA Life Magazine.
So far, these are all the MAFS 2026 divas we’ve found with some kind of entertainment background. And when more tea drops, we’ll be sure to catch it right here.
