Glamorous influencer, 26, with young son dies of complications from boob job

Influencer Derleya Alves has died of complications from a boob job at the age of 26.

The social media star underwent the operation on February 20 and died just eight days later.

She began to suffer from intense abdominal pain immediately after the operation.

As her condition worsened, Alves underwent multiple tests and two surgeries.

During the procedures, her intestines were repaired and one of her ovaries was removed.

She passed away from complications arising from the cosmetic operation at the Marabá Municipal Hospital in Marabá, northern Brazil, on February 28.

The medical team identified a possible congenital intestinal abnormality that may have contributed to the severity of her condition.

So far, there is no suspicion of medical malpractice.

However, the authorities are waiting for the results of a detailed analysis of her condition before confirming the exact cause of death.

She was buried at the Assembleia de Deus Missão Church in Marabá on Sunday, March 1, as reported by NeedToKnow.

Alves regularly shared fitness content on Instagram for her 27,000 followers.

In her last two posts, she shared images of her recovering from the cosmetic procedure in the hospital.

One video showed her mother helping her to get ready in her hospital room.

She wrote: ‘Mum getting me ready after my bath.’

Alves leaves behind a young son as the investigation into her death continues.

Fans took to social media to mourn the influencer’s death.

‘A girl, sweet humble mother, I can’t believe her death,’ wrote one.

Another wrote: ‘May God comfort the family, friends, and followers.’ 

‘You deserve all the best, and may God bring you through this in good health,’ said someone else.

‘My condolences to all the family members,’ another said.
