NFL star Puka Nacua who tried to date Sydney Sweeney appears to move on as he’s seen with new love interest

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua appears to have a new love interest, a little over a month on from shooting his shot with Sydney Sweeney.

Nacua, 24, appeared to try his luck with Sweeney through a cheeky message on social media after she gave an interview describing what she looks for in a man.

She told Cosmopolitan: ‘Athletic and outgoing and funny. I’m a sporty girl, so someone needs to be able to climb a mountain with me, go skydiving with me.

‘And someone who loves their family. I love myself a man… oh, wow, when you print that, you won’t hear the inflection in my voice.’

The NFL star saw Sweeney’s quote go viral and replied on X: ‘Love skydiving.’ He also later claimed to have set up a date with the actress, although it seems he was joking – they were never seen together.

Now, it seems like Nacua has moved on anyway. He has been spotted in Los Angeles once again with the fitness influencer Sara Saffari.

They were first spotted on a TopGolf date together while the second sighting shows them walking through an LA food court over the weekend.

Nacua has a black hood and sunglasses on in the video, seemingly in an attempt to go unnoticed while Saffari can clearly be seen walking alongside him.

Nacua is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL and has shot to stardom in the sporting world after being drafted by the Rams in 2023.

He is believed to be single at present but has a baby boy with his ex-girlfriend Hallie Aiono, who was born in October.

Nacua was involved in some legal drama when Aiono launched a petition to determine that her baby was the NFL star’s, but they seemed to put that behind them by the time he was born.

Nacua was pictured alongside Aiono in hospital when she gave birth and said on Instagram he was ‘proud’ of Aiono for bringing his son into the world.
