Actress planned concerted dog poop attack on ex after he moved on with new love, court told

Alice Evans urged her fan club to send bags of dog poop to her estranged husband, Fantastic Four star Ioan Gruffudd, after he left her and moved in with his new love, Bianca Wallace, a Los Angeles court heard Tuesday.

The bizarre claim came from Linda Blank, who used to run Evans’s Facebook fan club and still runs Gruffudd’s, on the sixth day of a trial where the Welsh actor, 52, is asking for a domestic violence restraining order against Evans to be renewed.

‘Alice gave us Ioan’s address and encouraged us and other people to send him a bag of dog excrement,’ Blank told LA Superior Court Judge Michael Convey.

‘She wanted people to think he was the bad guy… running off with Bianca and leaving her and their girls, leaving her destitute.’

Gruffudd and Evans, 57, broke up in early 2021 and went through a nasty divorce that became final in 2023.

Since then, they’ve been fighting a bitter battle over money and their daughters, Ella, 16, and Elsie, 12.

He accuses his former spouse of a relentless campaign of ‘harassment and abuse’ against him and Wallace, 33. The couple married in April last year and welcomed a baby girl, Mila, in November.

Blank told the court Tuesday that Evans, devastated after Gruffudd left her, said that ‘she knew how to ruin his career. She could do things to make him look bad in public.

‘She wanted to talk about him using sex workers and cocaine. She purposely bounced 20 checks to the water company because it would ruin his credit.’

She said Evans’s fury was also directed at Australian-born Wallace. ‘She wanted her deported,’ said Blank, who added that Evans planned to drag out her divorce from Gruffudd so that Wallace, who didn’t have a Green Card, would face deportation if she stayed in the US longer than 90 days.

‘These two people ruined my life – I want her [Wallace] chastised online,’ Evans wrote in an email to Blank.

At first, Blank supported Evans after Gruffudd’s October 2021 Instagram announcement that he was romantically involved with Wallace, even sending her a sympathetic email reading, ‘It’s a punch in the face – I just cannot fathom how sneaky and awful he is.’

But she changed her mind when she read the details of the restraining order Gruffudd and Wallace won against Evans in 2022, to combat her barrage of trash-talking and false social media posts.

‘I realized that all these bad things Alice said about Ioan were not true,’ said Blank, who admitted that she herself had posted negative comments about Gruffudd because she had ‘bought into what Alice was telling us.

‘I felt misled and hurt by Alice because I believed all this bad stuff about Ioan that wasn’t true.’

Blank deleted Evans’s Facebook fan club page in mid-2022 and ‘quit talking to her’. But she managed to repair her relationship with Gruffudd after their friendship suffered some ‘glitches’ during her support of Evans.

Under cross-examination from Evans’s attorney, Janina Verano, Blank admitted that she had asked Evans to give her Gruffudd’s address, where he was living with Wallace, so that she could ‘report Bianca for animal abuse’.

And she added that, in an email exchange with Evans in March 2024, ‘Alice did not say anything disparaging about Ioan or Bianca.’

Judge Convey is expected to rule this week on whether to renew the restraining order against Evans.

The trial will then move into a second phase dealing with spousal and child support.

Evans claims that she is broke and wants Gruffudd to increase the $1,500 a month he pays her in spousal support and the $3,000 a month he pays in child support for their two girls, who, Gruffudd says, have been ‘poisoned and alienated’ against him by their mother.

He wants to stop paying spousal support altogether, based upon Alice’s ‘persistent’ domestic abuse of him and her many violations of the previous restraining order, and maintains that he has already ‘overpaid’ Evans to the tune of almost $400,000.
