OnlyFans owner Leonid Radvinsky was so reclusive that just one photo exists — and his death went unnoticed for days

Billionaire OnlyFans owner Leonid Radvinsky, a notorious recluse with just one publicly known photo, had been dead for days before the news became public.

The 43-year-old businessman, who had been privately battling cancer, passed away earlier than the Monday announcement, according to Andy Bachman, CEO of Creators Inc., a company that works closely with OnlyFans adult content creators.

“Insiders knew [Radvinsky] had been dealing with health issues for some time, and while his passing is tragic, he left behind a company that was fully prepared and resilient,” Bachman told the New York Post. “His passing wasn’t sudden, so there was a lot of preparation. He passed a few days before the media found out, so there was no interruption to the business.”

Before his death, Radvinsky shunned the public spotlight and purchased a $19m, 6,000-square-foot oceanfront condo at Miami’s Turnberry Ocean Club, one of the city’s most exclusive residences, according to The Post. The luxurious property functioned like a fortress, featuring private elevators, round-the-clock security, and direct access to parking, allowing him to maintain complete privacy and keep outsiders from observing who entered or left the building.

Radvinsky is survived by his wife, Yekaterina “Katie” Chudnovsky, an attorney and philanthropist who oversees special projects at the Rare Cancer Research Foundation, according to her biography on the organisation’s website.

Radvinsky, a Ukrainian‑born entrepreneur raised in Chicago, largely kept himself out of the public eye despite owning one of the most prominent – and controversial – adult content platforms in the world. In 2018, he acquired Fenix International, the parent company of OnlyFans, transforming the platform from a niche subscription service into a multibillion-dollar enterprise.

Under his leadership, OnlyFans revolutionized adult entertainment, allowing creators to keep 80 per cent of revenues earned through a subscription model.

In one of his few public appearances, Radvinsky attended a 2024 gala with his wife to support gastrointestinal research. At the event, Chudnovsky revealed that the couple had helped fund a $23m cancer research grant, in remarks that seemed to subtly reference Radvinsky’s own health struggles, according to The Wall Street Journal.

“Because of the scientists behind the research we are funding, one miracle followed another. The advances will forever change the face of cancer treatment. And Leo’s here tonight, proving that science and miracles go hand-in-hand,” Chudnovsky said during a speech, per the WSJ.

As of March 10, Forbes estimated Radvinsky’s net worth at $4.7bn, placing him among the world’s wealthiest people. From 2021 through early 2025, he reportedly earned nearly $1.3bn in dividends from OnlyFans, where he served as director and majority shareholder. His ownership stake was held in a trust, The Post reports. Radvinsky had also reportedly attempted to sell his stake in the company for $8bn but struggled to secure a bank willing to handle the deal.

Sophie Rain, a top adult content creator on OnlyFans who earned $95m between 2023 and 2025, publicly paid tribute to Radvinsky after his death, thanking him for transforming her career and expressing gratitude for the opportunities the platform provided – despite never meeting him.

“I don’t even know how to put this into words. That man built something that changed my entire life. Like, I grew up on food stamps and now I can take care of my whole family because of a platform he created. I will never forget that,” Rain told The Post.

“Before OnlyFans, I was waitressing and barely making rent. That platform gave me everything. And that doesn’t happen without someone building it in the first place,” she added.
