Jesse Metcalfe finally reveals what cosmetic work he’s had done after stunning fans with ageless face at 47

With his youthful complexion and smooth skin, it’s hard to believe Jesse Metcalfe is just three years away from turning 50.

The star has been a Hollywood heartthrob ever since wooing Eva Longoria’s character on Desperate Housewives in the noughties and has been aging gracefully ever since.

Now Metcalfe is dishing on the one cosmetic procedure he did try that is ordinarily done to slow down Father Time.

In an interview with The Daily Mail, Metcalfe admitted to once having ‘a little bit of Botox’ – an experience he soon regretted.

‘I had a little bit of Botox in my forehead one time and I got home and my eyebrows were uneven and I’m like, “I’m never doing this again,”‘ he told The Daily Mail at the New You Beauty Experience + Awards in Miami on Saturday.

‘I’m not opposed to non-invasive procedures like that. I’m not really looking to go under the knife ever.

‘I just want to do everything I can to maintain the elasticity of my skin before I even do anything like that.’

While one would think looking years younger would be an advantage in Hollywood, it’s been a blessing and a curse for Metcalfe.

‘Funny enough it’s kind of a disadvantage [looking younger in Hollywood]. Because when you reach my age [47], people want you to be playing these more mature roles so, father roles and whatnot and sometimes I don’t look old enough so I’m sort of stuck in the middle, sort of stuck in this weird space where I don’t look my age.’

But Metcalfe, who founded skincare line NUTRL last year, says his youthful appearance has also been an advantage in the beauty industry.

‘But with that said, I’ve been really blessed within the industry and I think that people trust me in beauty and in skincare because they see how much younger I look than I actually am.’

Metcalfe was at the New You event on behalf of his skincare line NUTRL, a brand that is less than a year old.

‘I also launched my own skincare line back in April of 2025, it’s called NUTRL Skin,’ he previously The Daily Mail at the Clarins’ Night of Extra bash. ‘We’re direct-to-consumer right now, but we’ve been on Good Morning America and The View and the line’s kind of blowing up.’

‘It’s been really great,’ he said of the response to the brand. ‘It’s a super clean, gender-neutral line that’s great for all skin types.

‘Incredibly hydrating, anti-aging. We got a couple peptide complexes in our serums that promote collagen production.’

Metcalfe’s relationship with skincare began when he started suffering from acne breakouts as a kid.

‘It really did a number on my self-confidence. Right when I was getting into Hollywood, I think it was all the heavy make-up,’ he said during an appearance on The Tamron Hall Show.

‘I didn’t even want to go to school some days. Luckily, I was raised for the majority of my childhood by a single mom, my mom Nancy, who knew a lot about beauty.’

‘She would take me to the esthetician once a month and that’s when I got introduced to a lot of these topicals that I incorporated into my skincare line.’
