Alessandra went out on a third date with her Hinge match. What happened next left her incredibly uncomfortable: ‘It was cooked’

A Melbourne makeup artist has gone viral after sharing a jaw-dropping dating story that’s left TikTok users calling her ex-fling a ‘walking red flag’.
Alessandra shared the story in a clip that’s racked up more than 800,000 views, detailing how a promising Hinge match turned into one of the most ‘bizarre’ third dates she’d ever had.
‘So, I started seeing this guy that I matched with on Hinge a while ago,’ she started.
‘First date, was alright, second date, good, but the third date – there were a few things that were a bit questionable.’
Things quickly took a strange turn when the man began making demands about her schedule.
‘When he asked me [my availability], I said I’m free Friday, because Thursday I’m catching up with my girlfriends,’ she recalled.
‘Tuesday comes around and he goes, ‘oh, by the way you’re going to have to cancel on your friends on Thursday because I’ve got us tickets to Michael Jackson the Musical.”
While she admits the gesture sounded fun, she didn’t appreciate being told what to do, but her date ‘wouldn’t take no for an answer.’

On the night, the brunette beauty thought things were finally back on track when her date revealed he’d booked dinner beforehand, until he added that ‘there’ll be a few other people joining’.
Confused but polite, she went along with it, until the situation spiralled into something she describes as ‘truly cooked’.
On the tram ride into the city, her date began frantically texting someone.
‘He says, “I’m messaging someone we’re meeting and I’ve told her you only speak Italian, so speak to her only in Italian, it’ll be really funny”,’ she recalled.
Alessandra said she immediately felt uncomfortable doing that with a person she’d never met and it would be ‘really awkward’.
When they arrived at the restaurant, her confusion turned to shock as her date pointed out a mature-aged woman sitting down.
‘So I went up and introduced myself in Italian, like he asked.
‘We’re talking in Italian, but I’m nervous as hell, so I decide to tell her that he’s lying – he made me do that.’

But the woman’s reaction floored her. Instead of being confused, she rolled her eyes and laughed before kissing her date on the cheek.
‘She leaned over and gave him a kiss and said, “Hey darling, how was your day?”,’ she said.
It was at that moment the penny dropped. At the table sat a younger woman whose name Alessandra recognised – it was his brother’s girlfriend’s name.
‘I realised I was at dinner with his whole family! There were extra seats at the table for more people to come,’ she said.
‘I asked him what was going on and tried to stay cool, and he just said, “Nothing, we’re just having dinner”. I’m like WHAT!?’
When one of the women at the table asked how long they’d been dating, Alessandra replied that it was only their third date and the whole table was stunned.
When she pulled her date aside and confronted him, he answered honestly that if he had told her the truth she ‘wouldn’t want to come’, so he said nothing.
Her date had told her they were just going out for dinner and a show – only to surprise her with a full family meet, leaving her feeling totally unprepared. But the next day? Radio silence. ‘He ignored me. I’ve met his whole family and now he’s ghosting me!’ she said
Viewers were quick to flood the comments, branding the mystery man’s behaviour ‘strange’ and ‘controlling’, with others reminding her of the golden rule – girls before guys. ‘The audacity to ghost you after?!’ one wrote
Despite the awkward start, Alessandra said the musical itself was fun and the night ended on a high note.
‘I messaged him thank you and said I had a good night – it was cooked, but it was fun,’ she said.
But the next day? Radio silence.
‘He ignored me. I’ve met his whole family and now he’s ghosting me,’ she said.
‘So I messaged him and said, “Hey, I’m a bit confused – you’ve introduced me to your family then you’ve barely spoken to me all day, what is going on here?”.
‘Long story short – it didn’t work out.’
Viewers were quick to flood the comments, branding the mystery man’s behaviour ‘strange’ and ‘controlling’, with others reminding her of the golden rule: girls before guys.
‘Never cancel your girls night for a man,’ warned one.
‘He’s not confused, [and] he’s testing your limits to see what he can get away with,’ another added.
Several others claimed they recognised the man’s antics, saying from experience that he ‘clearly behaves like this all the time’.
‘Making you introduce yourself to them also! Absolutely not,’ another fumed.
‘The audacity to ghost you after?! What?’ a shocked commenter added.
Many agreed Alessandra had ‘dodged a bullet’, with one summing it up perfectly: ‘Girl, if he tricked you into this, imagine what he’d do later.’
As for Alessandra, she has moved on, but the viral clip has served as a cautionary tale for singles everywhere.
