Alex de Minaur cuts a glum figure as fiancee Katie Boulter suffers agonising Australian Open defeat

Katie Boulter suffered an agonising straight-sets defeat in the first round of the Australian Open women’s singles on Tuesday afternoon. 

The Brit, who captured the hearts of the Aussie public last year and was affectionately dubbed ‘Aussie Kate’, suffered a  6-0, 7-5. 

Her fiance Alex de Minuar cut a glum figure as the cameras panned to the Aussie tennis star inside the Margaret Court Arena.
