A week after videos of her handsy New Year’s Eve with Tom Brady went viral, Alix Earle appears to be trying to smooth things over with her ex-boyfriend Braxton Berrios.
The influencer and Dancing With The Stars runner-up Earle, 25, was filmed getting touchy and flirty with Brady, 48, at a New Year’s Eve party in St Barths, weeks after splitting up with Berrios, a former teammate of Brady’s.
Earle had done little to play down the rumors about her and Brady in the days after the party, sharing a post on social media about making ‘new friends, new memories and new beginnings’ on New Year’s Eve in a post on Instagram where said the party was ‘the best NYE EVER!!!!’.
But on Thursday night, there was a tentative sign that Earle isn’t moving on quite so quickly from Berrios.
She shared a post on her story supporting the Miami Hurricanes college football team, who Berrios played for himself in his school years, in their playoff semifinal against Ole Miss.
‘Let’s go Canes!’ Earle wrote, removing any doubt about which team she was supporting. Her post came shortly after Berrios himself shared a video of his beloved Hurricanes team taking shots of coffee before their game started, writing ‘Fire me up’.

Berrios and Earle had just celebrated their two-year anniversary when they split up, with the couple struggling to do long distance as Earle competed on DWTS while Berrios had his NFL commitments with the Houston Texans.
Earle cried as she uploaded a video in mid-December confirming that she and Berrios had broken up.
‘I just feel like I can’t be what Braxton needs,’ Earle said through her tears.
‘I love Braxton, he is my best friend and it has been really difficult as we try and go forward with this. We’re on good terms and I don’t want anyone to come for him or be mean to him.’
Berrios, 30, was drafted by the New England Patriots in 2018, when none other than Brady was the team’s starting quarterback.
When he signed for the Texans last summer, Berrios said that working with Brady in practice had given him ‘a phd in football’.
Berrios said: ‘To see what professionalism really looks like from a rookie year was, I think, the greatest start I could have had.
‘He would stop and say, ‘Hey guys, this is what I am seeing and this is what I’m thinking.’ So earlier when I talked about seeing with the QB’s eyes… that was all from rookie year, from that study and how he saw it. That year, I really think I got a PhD in football just watching him.’

The Houston Texans face the Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL playoffs on Monday night although Berrios has been left out of the gameday roster in recent weeks.
Other than Earle’s cryptic social media posts, neither her nor Brady have commented publicly about the viral videos of them together.
But it seems Brady was concerned at starting the year with his personal life projected across the internet.
‘Tom values discretion above everything else,’ a source close to the seven-time Super Bowl winner told Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice newsletter.
‘He’s already suspicious about how these videos of him and Alix leaked. That’s a huge red flag. He’s not interested in a girlfriend who broadcasts every detail of her life.’
