Welcome to PEDESTRIAN.TV’s live coverage of the 83rd Annual Golden Globe Awards, the messy, younger sister of the Oscars, where the champagne is flowing and all your fave celebs are gathered in one place. Sure, the Golden Globes isn’t important enough to help someone achieve EGOT status, but it’s one of the few award ceremonies that celebrates both movies and TV in one epic evening.
Plus, for the first time ever, someone will walk away with the Golden Globe Award for Best Podcast. Yes, really.
What you need to know
- THE NOMINEES: Leonardo DiCaprio’s action thriller One Battle After Another is leading the pack with nine nominations, followed by Cannes Film Festival Award-winning drama Sentimental Value with eight. Sinners has also clocked seven nods, while Hamnet has six and Frankenstein — starring Australia’s Jacob Elordi — and Wicked: For Good each landed five.
- The Host: Comedian Nikki Glaser is back as host for her second year in a row after making history in 2025 as the award show’s first female host, so prepare for a savage monologue filled with plenty of digs at the A-list guests. James Cameron, look away if you don’t like being roasted.
- How To Watch: The 2026 Golden Globes kick off at 12pm AEDT on Paramount+ — and will be broadcast on Network 10 from 7.30pm — but you can follow along with all the action right here on PEDESTRIAN.TV.
