Accused murderer Luigi Mangione delivered a sassy outburst as he was led out of court during his latest hearing on Friday.
The alleged assassin, 27, made a surprise appearance in Manhattan where New York Judge Gregory Carro declared that his state trial will go ahead in June.
The proposed date is several months earlier than had been anticipated and will pre date his trial on federal charges in in connection with the assassination of UnitedHealthcare boss Brian Thompson.
As he was being led out the accused killer also made a rare outburst appearing to reference the fact he is facing both state and federal charges.
‘One plus one equals two,’ Magione yelled, per Fox5 reporter Michelle Ross in court.
‘This is the same trial twice. This is double Jeopardy by any common sense definition.’
