ICYMI: earlier this week, insiders spilled the ~rumoured~ salaries of each celeb couple on the show to different publications, including P.TV.

Then, during the pair’s appearance on the Will & Woody Show, the hosts asked the couple if the rumours were true that they pocketed $1.5 million each.

“That’s why we’re in the penthouse,” Georgie jokingly responded to the question. “We need to have chats to our managers!”

“Is that how much you got paid?” one of hosts asked.

“No!” the couple said in unison.

Interestingly, our insider actually told us that the pair were paid a flat $100K fee, and while they were one of the higher paid celebrity couples, it’s a far cry from the $1.5 million that was brought up on radio.

So perhaps our source’s claim of $100K fee is more on the money? (No pun intended)

Rob and Georgie were one of the higher paid celeb duos competing on The Amazing Race this year, along with Melissa Leong, Gretel Killeen, and Ed Kavalee and Tiffany Hall.

Meanwhile, Daily Mail Australia’s insider said last year’s contestants shared a $1 million budget, with the biggest celebs raking in around $100,000 each.

Elsewhere in the chat, Rob Mills spilled salary intel about a different show he competed on: Dancing With The Stars.

“I was doing Dancing With The Stars a few years ago and [we were paid] per episode, but we were all contracted to be there for the final episode, so I didn’t even have to make the final, I still got paid for the final episode!” he revealed.

“I made the semis, I was really going for it in the dance-off.”

He went on to say that The Amazing Race has been on his “bucket list” for a long time so doing the show was a dream come true, $1.5 million or not.
