Filming is well and truly underway for the sequel to the iconic fashion hit The Devil Wears Prada. While we have a little while to wait until the final cut is playing out on our screens, Miss Anne Hathaway has given us something to chew on while we wait patiently for the return of her beloved character Andy Sachs.

Taking to Instagram on Monday evening local time, Anne posted a picture of herself grinning in a gorgeous sleeveless pinstriped ensemble. She’s leaning, laughing and looking incredible as per.
To the untrained eye, it looks like the Princess Diaries star is just posting an incredible pic on IG, but in the caption, she makes it clear — we’re looking at Andy and it’s the first time we’ve seen the iconic character in 20 years.
“Andy Sachs 2025 #dwp2,” she wrote. Case closed.
Noticably, her bangs are gone. It’s 2025. She’s left her bangs in the past.
Here’s to hoping she left them with her shitty ass boyfriend Nate (Adrian Grenier).
So far, there’s a lot of mystery surrounding the plot. However, what we do know is that the sequel is expected to follow Andy and low-key terrifying print editor Miranda Priestley (Meryl Streep) as she adapts to the ever-changing media landscape. As a media gal who was directly influenced to start a career in magazines from this god damn movie, I can’t wait to see how this plays out.
While much of the pot remains a mystery, the casting has been revealed and god, it’s good.
Thankfully, our collective favourite characters from the original, such as Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci are returning. They’re joined by a bunch of stellar actors, including Kenneth Branagh as Miranda Priestly’s husband (perfect casting, imo), and Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, Pauline Chalamet, Simone Ashley, Helen J. Shen and Conrad Ricamora playing undisclosed roles.
