With filming underway for The Devil Wears Prada 2Anne Hathaway and 20th Century Studios are giving everyone a first look the actress’ Andy Sachs character, and something seems to be missing: her signature bangs.
Sharing the photo on Instagram, with no comment other than “Andy Sachs 2025,” Hathaway looks dressed for success in a matching pinstriped vest and slacks, with pearls and a necklace accentuating the look.

Filming began at the end of June, with Prada 2 set for a May 1, 2026 release. Joining Hathaway as Prada returnees are Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci. Kenneth Branagh has been cast as the husband of Streep’s fashion editor Miranda Priestly. Also new to the cast are Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, Pauline Chalamet, Simone Ashley, Helen J. Shen and and Conrad Ricamora.
Directing is David Frankel, with Aline Brosh McKenna writing.
Though plot details are being kept under wraps, the sequel is expected to feature Streep’s character coping with the decline of the print industry.
