A close scare for Australia’s Beau Webster, who’s lucky he got his front pad just outside the line of off stump as left-armer Marco Jansen tried to hoop one back into the stumps from aroun the wicket.
An ‘umpire’s call’ though (the ball was going onto hit the stump) so if the finger went up Webster would have been sent packing.
“He’s nervous, that’s for sure,” says Nasser Hussain in commentary.
Final ball of Jansen’s over, Smith cracks a boundary in front of point. All hands there. Seeing them very well at the moment is Australia’s No.4.
