Baby joy for footy star Cody Walker as he shares the stunning coincidence surrounding her birth
South Sydney Rabbitohs star Cody Walker has revealed he has become a ‘girl dad’ for the first time, with his newborn daughter sharing the same birthday as one of his older children in a stunning coincidence.
The 35-year-old announced the arrival of his fourth child with wife Amy, named Keari Lou Walker, in an Instagram post on Sunday.
In a remarkable turn of events, the newest member of the Walker family shares her birthday with her older brother Kian.
The couple’s heartwarming news has since become the toast of the NRL world, with Walker’s teammates and rivals extending their congratulations.
‘Congratulations guys,’ wrote Cronulla Sharks halfback Nicho Hynes, who recently got engaged to longtime partner Piper Wallis.
‘Congrats guys, she is beautiful,’ Walker’s Bunnies teammate Cameron Murray added.

Walker, 35, has three sons.
His youngest son Kora Alfie was born in August last year.
Walker is set to suit up for his 11th season in the NRL for the Rabbitohs in 2026.
He is yet to win a competition with the team, but came very close when he scored a try in the narrow loss to Penrith in the 2021 grand final.
