‘Barbaric’ blonde Moldovan woman who tortured and threw victim off balcony before fleeing to the US is finally arrested by ICE

A murderous illegal immigrant who fled to the US from Moldova has finally been arrested more than a decade after she tortured and threw a victim off a balcony in her home country.
Victoria Sorocean was taken into custody on November 4 in Los Angeles, California, after authorities learned she had been convicted of intentional murder in September 2013, the Department of Homeland Security said on Tuesday.
Sorocean, who’s been described as a ‘barbaric criminal,’ and an unknown accomplice tortured the victim inside an apartment in Chisinau, where they beat them with a stick and electrical cable.
The pair then threw the victim to their death out of a ninth-floor window.
The killer, who was seen with blonde highlighted hair, a pink manicure, eyeliner and a converse T-shirt in the back of a federal vehicle, was convicted and sentenced to 17 years for committing murder with premeditation and exceptional cruelty.
But instead of serving her time, Sorocean decided to flee to the US instead, the agency said.
The convicted murderer was on President Donald Trump’s first administration’s radar, leading to her arrest on January 10, 2020.
She then tried to ‘avoid removal’ from America by using ‘various legal tactics,’ including seeking asylum and filing multiple appeals with the Board of Immigration Appeals, ICE said.

Just two years later, Sorocean was released back into the US under former President Joe Biden’s administration.
‘It shocks the conscience that the Biden Administration released into America a cruel, violent illegal alien who tortured a human being, beat them with an electrical cable and a stick, and then threw her victim from a ninth-floor window,’ DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said following Sorocean’s arrest.
‘These are the types of barbaric criminal illegal aliens ICE is targeting every single day. 70% of all ICE arrests are of illegal aliens charged or convicted of a crime in the U.S.
‘This does not even include foreign fugitives like this convicted murderer. Under President Trump and Secretary Noem, the world’s criminals are no longer welcome in the U.S.’
Sorocean will remain in ICE custody until her removal proceedings, the agency said.
The Daily Mail contacted DHS, ICE and Sorocean’s attorney for comment.
