Barcelona star Gavi and his stunning girlfriend go viral as they pack on the PDA at the club’s LaLiga title party

Barcelona star Gavi and his girlfriend Ana Pelayo turned on the charm at the club’s LaLiga title party on Sunday night.

The duo were seen cuddling and walking around on the pitch together while they also intertwined their fingers.

Barca lifted the LaLiga trophy despite a 3-2 loss to Villarreal, having wrapped up the title on Thursday against Espanyol.

Spain international Gavi, 20, has been an instrumental part of helping Hansi Flick’s men to a domestic treble, beating Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup finals.

He met Ana, a 22-year-old student from Seville, through his sister Aurora.

She has seemingly stuck with him through a challenging time. Gavi returned in September from a devastating knee injury and surgery which left him sidelined for 10 months and caused him to miss Spain’s Euro 2024 win last summer.

Rumours about the pair’s romance first sprang up last summer when she shared a photo of her hanging around with Gavi’s mother and sister.

Gavi and Pelayo are becoming an increasingly high-profile couple in Spain and beyond – he has 17.9 million Instagram followers, while she has 270,000.

Pelayo also joined her beau on the turf last month after La Blaugrana beat Real Madrid 3-2 in the Copa del Rey final.

There were jubilant scenes at full time on Sunday as Barca lifted the title at their temporary home, the Olympic Staidum.

Captain Marc-Andre ter Stegen made his way out on to the pitch, picking up the huge trophy and carrying it over to his team-mates and lifting it aloft.

‘I think Villarreal played a good game… but what matters is that we are champions,’ Barca’s Fermin Lopez, who scored their second goal to make it 2-1 at the end of the first half, told DAZN before he joined his teammates in the trophy-lifting celebrations.

‘I’m happy to have scored a goal, although it didn’t help us to grab another win that we really wanted. However, the important thing is that we’ve won the league and that’s it, we deserve it and let’s keep the celebration going.’

The stars were then joined on the pitch by their family and friends and they paraded their silverware in front of their adoring supporters.

Former Newcastle and Leicester forward Ayoze Perez opened the scoring for the Villarreal on Sunday, finding the net from a counter-attack in the fourth minute.

Yet Barca’s Lamine Yamal levelled in the 38th minute with another fine individual effort, cutting in from the right before curling in a strike.

Lopez then gave them the lead with a shot from the edge of the box in first-half stoppage time.

However, Santi Comesana equalised five minutes after the break and Canadian Tajon Buchanan fired the winner from a Gerard Moreno cross in the 80th minute, a result that secured Villarreal a spot in the Champions League next season.
