Speculation has been rampant on social media that the Days of Our Lives alum was coming to the sudser. Over the weekend, cast member Trisha Mann Grant posted a video on Instagram to celebrate star Clifton Davis’ birthday.
Vaughan was seen in the background.
In July, Val Jean told Deadline that “I can’t say who just yet, but I will say longtime soap fans all know and love him!”
Vaughan departed Days of Our Lives in 2020. He portrayed Eric Brady on the then-NBC daytime drama since 2012. Vaughan won a supporting actor Daytime Emmy award in 2018 for the role.
