Big Brother Cast Risk $100k Fine If They Don’t Follow These Strict Social Media Rules
The Big Brother 2025 feuds might still be bubbling under the surface, but fans shouldn’t expect any rogue tea-spilling sessions anytime soon.

In a move that’s raising eyebrows across the fandom, the show’s production company Endemol Shine Australia has quietly laid down strict new social media rules for the cast.
No live Q&As. No real-time tea. No going rogue. If they are in breach of these guidelines, they could be hit with fines as high as $100k.
Big Brother producers are cracking the whip
Production insiders told PEDESTRIAN.TV that housemates have been explicitly told what they can and can’t post and most notably, live Q&As are off the table.
This means no spur-of-the-moment Instagram Lives, no unfiltered fan questions — and no real-time clarifications on what really went down in the house.
In other words? Producers want control of the narrative and they want it airtight.
This is sure to disappoint fans in the official Big Brother subreddit r/BBAU who have been hoping the housemates might do an Ask Me Anything in the next few weeks.
Reddit user Jay (u/enby_dot_local), who helps moderate the subreddit, told P.TV earlier this month that they were looking forward to getting the 2025 housemates involved.
“The Reddit community team is already trying to set something up for us, so it’s a TBA,” they said. “But I think we would let anyone do it, really. There’s no one housemate that’s kind of hated as such by everyone. Everyone’s kind of loved and hated in their own kind of way.”
Vinnie and Jane squash their beef
While Instagram Lives and Q&As aren’t allowed, that hasn’t stopped Vinnie Brigante from taking a swipe at his co-star Jane Marshall-Doherty online this week.
The former Deal or No Deal contestant shared a video on Tuesday night where makeup artist Sarah Fritz gave him a complete makeover. As well as a full face of makeup, he wore a blonde wig, a pearl necklace and a hot pink blazer as he lip-synced her brutal message to him on the show.
“Vinnie, you’re fake,” Jane said. “You join in conversations and give a lot of good advice when you know there’s a group and the cameras are on you.
“I don’t think I’ll ever see you again on the outside, you’re fake.”
Jane didn’t seem too bothered by the video as she left a surprisingly lighthearted comment hinting they’ve patched up their feud.
“Oh Vinnie. Bloody funny. Love you bro,” she replied.
On the other hand, it doesn’t look like Holly Young and Coco Beeby have rekindled their friendship as they haven’t followed each other on Instagram yet. One insider told P.TV that the frenemies completely dodged one another at the finale and were carefully kept apart backstage.
Maybe it’s time for Mel Tracina to host a reunion special so they can patch things up — or they might end up making things worse. Either way, it would be great TV.
