Big Brother Fans Rage At ‘Annoying’ Loophole That Gives Housemates Outside World Access
Big Brother Australia fans have mixed feelings over the fact that housemates can interact with the outside world via a Dreamworld ride, with some claiming that it defeats the whole purpose of the reality TV show.

One of the biggest selling points of Network 10’s reboot of Big Brother Australia is the fact that the beloved reality TV sharehouse would be returning to its old stomping ground: Gold Coast’s Dreamworld.
While the OG house was tucked away from the amusement park, fans can catch an IRL glimpse of the Big Brother house through a two-way window.
Another way fans can also see the house — well, Big Brother‘s backyard — is via Dreamworld’s Tail Spin, which soars over the patch of green where housemates can be seen sunbaking, scheming and gossiping.
Throughout the season, fans have called out to housemates. Some have spilled tea about the outside world, and others have heckled certain contestants — *cough* Holly Young *cough*.
Most recently, during Big Brother‘s chaotic AF finals week, Bruce Dunne‘s family jumped on the Tail Spin to catch a glimpse of their family member.
“I miss you guys,” Bruce yelled at the Tail Spin as his brother Jonah yelled back, “I love you, Bruce”.
While the stunt was super duper cute, some viewers reckon that this little interaction should be banned as housemates are supposed to be locked away from the world during their time on Big Brother Australia.
Earlier in the season, a fan on the Tail Spin hinted at Abiola Oreyomi‘s edit on the show, urging the musician to “wake up”.
“That’s foul, bro. They’ve edited so foully, I already know this is a thing now,” Abiola said in response to the fan.
In response to that moment, Abiola told PEDESTRIAN.TV that she was “chill” with the fan’s reaction as she loves her sleep, and that her reaction was “receiving an insight into what parts the show was highlighting”.
“It’s always interesting when you have no interaction with the outside world, and hearing commentary from the rides was kind of eye-opening,” she told P.TV.
While we haven’t got any word on whether Big Brother Australia will continue in 2026, it’ll be interesting to see if Network 10 keeps the house within the grasp of the Tail Spin.
