
Actor Brad Pitt’s California home was terrorized by thieves after they scaled a fence to get inside.
A band of three burglars allegedly broke into the F1 actor’s home in the Los Feliz section of Los Angeles on Wednesday around 10:30pm, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
Pitt was not home at the time. It is unclear if his girlfriend Ines de Ramon was inside at the time
Investigators told NBC News the thieves climbed over Pitt’s front fence and broke into the home, taking property. The value of the items are unknown at this time.
A string of celebrities have seen their Los Angeles-area homes broken into in recent years, including Pitt’s ex-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston, as well as, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban and Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson.
It is unclear if the burglaries are connected.
Pitt has been promoting his new movie, F1: The Movie, recently and was spotted with his girlfriend at the London premiere earlier this week.
F1: The Movie was made in collaboration with Formula One’s governing body, the FIA, with seven-time world champion Lewis being one of the producers.
Brad plays the lead role of as the troubled race car driver Sonny Hayes, who is pitted against rookie and rival Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris) as they battle it out at various Grand Prixes around the world.
