The rumour mill is spinning with some red hot tea about a potential Beckham family feud, and apparently it’s the reason why Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz, ditched this year’s Met Gala.

ICYMI, New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute has been completely chockers of celebrities wearing the fashion world’s biggest names for the annual Met Gala. From Miu Miu to Chanel, from Nicki Minaj to the KarJenners, big names were everywhere!
However, one of the celebs to have missed out this year’s fashion festivities was Brooklyn — the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham — and his wife, Nicola, who’ve previously attended the shindig.
But according to inside sources, the nepobaby duo reportedly “pulled out” of this year’s Met Gala because they wanted to be at David Beckham’s 50th Birthday in London. However, Brooklyn reportedly felt that Nicola was being blamed for the family fall out.
“They cancelled plans to attend the Met because they really intended to be at David’s party on Saturday,” the insider told UK publication The Sun.
“But Brooklyn is really upset that blame for the rift has been levelled at Nicola.
“She has never told him what to do and has been nothing but supportive — she’s a loyal wife.”
Why is Brooklyn Beckham feuding with the Beckhams?
In early April, TMZ reported that Brooklyn and Romeo Beckham were butting heads over Romeo’s new beau, Kim Turnbull, who previously dated Brooklyn yonks ago.
Per the publication, the beef began to boil last December, with Brooklyn questioning Kim’s intentions of dating his little brother.
Rumours of the feud exploded through the grapevine last weekend when Brooklyn and Nicole were noticeably absent from David’s 50th birthday celebrations.
Per TMZ, Brooklyn agreed to be at his dad’s multiple shindigs if Kim was uninvited. However, according to The Sun, that was shot down.
The publication also claims that a source close to the famous family claimed “the fallout had nothing to do with Brooklyn and Romeo”, and that Kim wasn’t present for one of David’s events as she had prior commitments.
A source close to Brooklyn claimed that the photographer / model / celebrity chef flew to London to hopefully meet up with his dad, but unfortunately, he was told the only way he could see him was at one of his parties.
“He suggested going for breakfast or a coffee but was told the only chance to see the family would be at one of their lavish parties which Kim would be at — so he refused,” the inside source shared.
“As far as he sees it, his parents have chosen Romeo and his new girlfriend over him.”
Look, like with most celebrity gossip, it’s best to take it with a grain of salt. However, skipping out on your old man’s milestone birthday is quite bloody telling. Especially if you’re a Beckham and can afford to fly across the globe for your loved ones.
So far, neither of the Beckhams, Nicola or Kim, have publicly commented on the rumoured family feud.
