California Governor Gavin Newsom’s snooty wife scolds female journalists for asking the ‘wrong’ questions at press conference

The wife of California Governor Gavin Newsom lashed out at reporters during a press conference about Planned Parenthood.
Jennifer Siebel, 51, stepped to the podium and scolded journalists for asking the ‘wrong’ questions during the event on women’s health Wednesday.
The conference was held to discuss a newly signed bill that will provide a $90 million boost for Planned Parenthood clinics in the state.
The law was passed to replace federal funding lost under President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
Newsom was standing at the podium, surrounded by his wife and supporters dressed in pink, when he began answering questions that did not concern women’s health.
After he answered a series of unrelated questions, the posse behind him started chanting: ‘Planned Parenthood, protect women!’
Newsom began chuckling and Siebel was seen whispering something in his ear before she approached the microphone.

‘We just find it incredulous that we have Planned Parenthood here and women are 51 percent of the population,’ she said.
‘And majority of these questions – all of these questions – have really been about other issues.
‘It’s just fascinating, you have this incredible women’s caucus and all these allies, and you’re not asking about it.
‘This happens over and over again. You wonder why we have such a horrific war on women in this country, and that these guys are getting away with it
‘You don’t seem to care. So I just offer that with love.’
The room seemed to be filled with female reporters, many of whom were heard pressing the Democrat with questions.
The bill was approved Monday, and Newsom said he will push efforts to protect funding for the organization.

‘These cuts were designed to attack and assault Planned Parenthood,’ Newsom said, blaming the current administration.
‘They were not abortion cuts. They were attacks on wellness screenings. They were attacks on women’s healthcare, period, full stop.’
Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act prevents states from using federal Medicaid money to fund Planned Parenthood’s non-abortion services for one year.
The funding is set to start again in July 2026, and the blue state has been fighting hard to regain the money.
