Carlos Alcaraz v Jannik Sinner live: ATP Finals latest score and updates as rivals clash for year-end crown and massive pay-day

Sinner keeps his focus and serves out the game with an ace. Alcaraz did not look overly comfortable moving out to the wide serve, but the Spaniard still looks competitive in the rallies.

Anything you can do… Sinner follows in a wide serve but doesn’t quite connect with the volley. It lands in, and he holds his hand up to Alcaraz in apology.

Nicely done from Alcaraz to close the game with a serve and volley. Sinner had flashed a lovely backhand winner down the line but Alcaraz withstood him, and the crowd, to edge back in front.

Awesome from Sinner and this is bubbling up nicely. Sensational forehand direction as he goes behind Alcaraz to get to 30-15, then powers one down the line to clinch the game.

Wonderful from Alcaraz. He is dragged into a deuce game of his own, with both players looking for some rhythm after the stoppage.

But after a baseline rally, Alcaraz guides a lovely backhand winner down the line – then roars as Sinner goes long.

That was just what Sinner needed after the 11-minute delay. Two first serves, two points won. And he takes the game.
