January began with the first major red carpet of 2025 at the opening night gala of the Palm Springs International Film Festival. A few days later, Hollywood’s biggest stars celebrated the best of television and movies at the Golden Globes in Beverly Hills.
Sadly, on Jan. 7, the Los Angeles wildfires ripped through the city, devastating Altadena, Pacific Palisades and Malibu. But the entertainment industry quickly got to work to help with relief efforts. Paris Hilton visited several non-profits, Eva Longoria did the same after donating $1 million to various organizations and Jimmy Kimmel organized a donation center in Hollywood.
