Dave Portnoy reveals what Jordon Hudson is really like with Bill Belichick: ‘Am I afraid of her?’
Dave Portnoy has revealed who’s really pulling the strings behind Bill Belichick’s relationship with Jordon Hudson but stopped short of branding the 24-year-old ‘crazy.’
The couple, who share a controversial 49-year age gap, racked up a number of awkward headlines this week after muscling in on her older boyfriend’s interview with CBS Mornings in excruciating fashion.
The extremely uncomfortable moment, which saw a stony-faced Hudson shut down a question on their love life, has sparked fears and questions among fans – and even friend of Belichick’s – over the dynamic of their relationship.
Now, Portnoy, who said he was left ‘squirming’ over the frosty interruption, has shared his first-hand experience of the former cheerleader.
‘I had met Jordon and it was clear that she ran the show,’ he said on Barstool’s ‘The Unnamed Show.’ ‘We were both together at a speaking show and she just ran the show, it was very obvious.’
The podcast’s co-hosts Kirk Minihane and Ryan Whitney proceeded to press the Barstool boss on if and when he realized that Hudson ‘has some issues.’

But the sports media mogul held back from exposing his true feelings about Hudson over fears he could bump into his Nantucket neighbors while staying at his luxury $42 million compound this summer.
‘I don’t know what’s going on,’ Portnoy responded. ‘Let me put it this way, I know her and I know him and I’m going to see them, I’m sure, in Nantucket. And she sees everything that is said.
‘Now, am I afraid of her? No. Am I going to sit here and really go out and say she’s the craziest person I’ve ever seen? No. Because I don’t want to be awkward when I’m carrying my watermelon from the shop and I bump into her.’
Portnoy went on to double down on his shock at CBS keeping the interruption in the aired version of the interview.
‘It’s not meant to be controversial,’ he insisted. ‘That is literally not what the show is. I didn’t even think they’d mention her because they steer away from controversy. She must have been in their eyes so annoying.’
In a painfully awkward moment, Hudson interrupted Belichick’s conversation with CBS Sunday Morning’s Tony Dokoupil when her 73-year-old boyfriend was asked how they first met.
‘We’re not talking about this,’ she bluntly told Dokoupil while lurking off-camera at the producer’s table
The excruciating moment has sparked a fierce backlash , with many questioning how much control Hudson has over Belichick’s life away from the football field, while further reports have emerged claiming she also stormed off set and delayed shooting of the interview by 30 minutes.

It also emerged in March that Hudson has had an unofficial role in Belichick’s University of North Carolina career since his hiring with the football coach requesting his much younger lover be included in all correspondence to him from the school.
Emails obtained by The Athletic showed the Miss Maine USA hopeful pleading with the university’s communications team to censor social media comments about the couple’s relationship and 49-year age gap.
Fans were quick to raise concerns after a clip of the uncomfortable interview moment with CBS went viral on social media at the weekend, leading to fears over the nature of their relationship and how much control she has over Belichick.
Furthermore, Belichick’s friends are said to be increasingly concerned at the control Hudson has over the eight-time Super Bowl winner, while North Carolina are said to be questioning if he is still the right man to be their football coach.
But Belichick went on the offense Wednesday, by accusing CBS of using ‘selectively edited clips’ that have made Hudson subject of ongoing ridicule.
He accused the CBS Mornings host of ‘repeatedly’ introducing topics he had not approved, stressing his desire to stay on the topic of his upcoming book, ‘The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football,’ which he was there to promote.
But CBS denied violating any sort of agreement and said they had agreed to a ‘wide-ranging interview’ with Belichick.
