Robert Pattinson has sent Twilight fans into a tizzy over a red carpet interview for The Drama, with some folks believing that he just threw major shade towards co-star and ex Kristen Stewart.
Hot off the press with some major tea for Twihards to sink their teeth into, Pattinson has lit up the internet after he revealed which star sign he considers a red flag during an interview with Italy’s Best Movie Magazine.
“Like zodiac sign? Aries,” Pattinson said before having a cheeky little giggle.
“Actually, I’m joking. I just picked a random one.”
While the interaction was short and sweet, Twilight fans quickly ate up the soundbite and reckon he was throwing some shade toward Stewart, who was born April 9, making her an Aries.
“He’s so messy,” one fan wrote on X.
“Robert might play it off as a joke, but Kristen Stewart is an Aries, so it seemed intentional, & he laughed it off,” another penned.
“The way Kristen totally traumatised him,” a third joked.
For folks who don’t know about the messy AF lore surrounding R.Pattz and K.Stew’s trainwreck of a relationship, the pair got together during the filming of the Twilight franchise.
However, shit hit the fan for the dynamic duo on July 24, 2012, when PEOPLE magazine reported that Stewart had cheated on R.Pattz with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.
Days later, Stewart publicly apologised for the affair, stating she was “deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected”.
In October of the same year, the pair seemed to have rekindled their relationship, but they eventually broke up in May 2013, according to PEOPLE.
But since then, Stewart and Pattison have seemed to make amends, with Stewart crashing his B-day party back in 2023.
As for the most recent red carpet ‘shade’, I reckon Pattison was just being silly and just blurted out a random AF sign. So, I guess the ‘shade’ could be a reach? Or even just bantz?
Honestly, can never tell with Mr R.Pattz. After all, he thinks he’s Gen Z.
