Dramatic moment cops swoop on suspected killers after man is shot dead in broad daylight on Sydney street

A man has been shot dead on a quiet street in Sydney’s west, with police arresting two people after pursuing them through the area.
Emergency services were called to Carinya Street, Blacktown, about 11.50am on Friday after reports of a public place shooting.
Officers from NSW Police found a man with gunshot wounds to his neck, chest and leg.
He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, but he died at the scene.
Police attempted to stop a Mazda that was seen fleeing the street but, when it did not stop, they gave chase.
The car then crashed on Kildare Road and two occupants ran from the car. They were arrested a short time later and taken to Blacktown Police Station.
Footage, published by independent media channel SCN Worldstar, showed the moment one of the suspected shooters was arrested.
Lying on the ground between two cars with a cut to his face, he was surrounded by two officers while a third produced handcuffs.
Officers established a perimeter as police continued their inquiries.
There is no threat to the public but, the community has been urged to avoid the area.
