Dubai influencer worth £36m arrives in UK to promote luxury perfume – and ends up at a shopping centre in Birmingham and a half-empty party at a rented cottage

Fans of a reality show about the Middle East’s most elite socialites were baffled when they spotted a millionaire entrepreneur who stars in the programme at a shopping centre in Birmingham, during his visit to the UK.
Ebraheem Alsamadi, 38, who owns luxury floral brand Forever Rose, is reportedly worth more than £36million – making him one of the richest cast members in Netflix’s hit series Dubai Bling.
But while promoting a new fragrance collaboration in England this month, instead of attending events filled to the brim with models and VIP clientele, the man dubbed ‘Mr Bling’ by viewers had the time of his life partying at the Resorts World shopping centre.
And rather than roaming around the Midlands’ Michelin-star venues, Ebraheem dined at a humbly priced Lebanese-Moroccan restaurant in Moseley Village – where dishes don’t tend to cost more than £15.
The eatery, Tabule, excitedly shared a video of the star pouring mint tea for himself at the table – leaving fellow diners in the comments baffled.
He was also seen dancing to Bollywood music at a lowkey party held at private cottages just outside the city – which appeared so sparsely attended, some called it ‘dead’.
The influencer, who has more than 1.2 million Instagram followers, was promoting an initiative called In The Club, created by Middle East fragrance brand Armaf.
Its aim is to bring content creators together. To launch the networking group, Ebraheem hosted ‘an exclusive group of 30 carefully selected influencers’.
He started the promotional UK tour in Birmingham on February 1, where the group enjoyed ‘immersive interactions, conversation, and genuine community-building’.

Events, as recorded by TikTokers including lifestyle blogger @am11_rah, featured gatherings hosted everywhere from the private Lake Lounge room at Resorts World shopping complex to Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre.
An Instagram reel appeared to show the group going to restaurant Meat Club, a pricey steakhouse where diners can splash out £150 for a Full Blood Wagyu cut – located at the Broadway Plaza.
The grand finale culminated in London, ‘with an elegant evening soirée that brought together creators from across the city’, on February 3.
‘This was about more than just fragrance,’ Ebraheem said. ‘It was about celebrating people, creating memories, and connecting through shared experiences.’
Those used to Mr Bling’s antics on TV may be more used to seeing him in jaw-droppingly expensive settings, decked head to toe in designer clothes.
He has been married and divorced thrice – and his last nuptials, in 2023, cost around half a million US dollars, and were held at the luxury Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island.

So it was surprising to see his relatively lowkey experience in the British Midlands.
‘WHAT, WHEN,’ one questioned, while another queried: ‘But why?’
Elsewhere, regulars at Tabule restaurant expressed their frustrations at missing the celeb spot.
‘The one time I’m not at Tabule,’ a commenter wrote, while another agonised over ‘missing him’.

Born in Kuwait, he spent most of his childhood in the US, where his family moved when he was a toddler.
When he was 13, his parents split. Speaking to Grazia, he revealed it marked a tough time in his childhood, as he and his sister then had to move into a one-bedroom flat with their mother.
‘I wanted to bring back to my mum the life she had at my dad’s place,’ he told the outlet – so he began selling clothes online to make money.
‘I worked so hard and anytime I made money from eBay, I would put money in my mom’s purse,’ he continued. ‘It began as my mother telling me you have too many clothes, you don’t need all that. So I said “okay”. I heard about this website called E-bay and I listed jeans that I had and I never wore. I sold it for more than I purchased it for.’
He is now known for his work in the luxury flower business market.
