Ellen DeGeneres ruthlessly mocked after appearing in commercial to sell heavily-discounted skincare products

Ellen DeGeneres has been brutally mocked for appearing in a commercial for her skincare brand Kind Science.
The former talk show host, 68, takes center stage in an infomercial in which she promotes a bundle of products at a huge discount.
In the ad, DeGeneres is seen leaning against a cabinet as she explains to viewers they could pay just $59.95 for six skincare products instead of the $250 it would cost if bought individually.
Pleading with viewers to spend their cash she adds, ‘Come on now.’
A clip of the commercial has gone viral on TikTok alongside the caption ‘Ellen fell off HARD’ and numerous social media users have ripped into the actress while questioning the ‘decline’ of her career.
Taking to the comments, one said: ‘Ellen’s career has “Degenerated” generously.’
‘She’s barely holding herself up,’ another observed.
‘Whenever I see a celebrity in a commercial, I assume that that’s the decline of their career,’ a third continued.

Another said: ‘She looks like she don’t wanna to be there.’
But others fiercely defended DeGeneres and pointed out that numerous celebrities have starred in commercials over the years – and that Kind Skincare is her own brand.
‘Celebrities have been doing commercials and endorsements for literally 50+ years,’ one argued. ‘There’s absolutely nothing unique about this.’
Another wrote: ‘Fell off? That girl has a net worth of $500M. This was probably just easy money or a way to turn something she’d buy anyway into income.’
‘Honey she didn’t fall off… this is HER brand,’ added a third.
DeGeneres, who has a reported net worth of $500 million, co-founded Kind Science skincare in 2021 with beauty expert Victoria Jackson.
The brand stocks a wide range of products including firming serum, hydration creams, radiance oil and cleansers.
This isn’t the first time DeGeneres has been poked fun at over her beauty line.

The former talk show host bid farewell to The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2022 after 19 seasons
In 2024, she was mocked for the name of her skincare years after she was canceled amid a toxic workplace scandal.
DeGeneres broadcast her final episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show on May 26, 2022 after 19 seasons.
The former host’s daytime talk show ended following allegations of intimidation, racism and sexual misconduct.
DeGeneres, who had previously ended each show by telling viewers to ‘be kind to one another,’ later branded the demise of her show as a ‘coordinated misogynistic’ attack on her.
She has mostly stayed out of the spotlight since.
Last week, DeGeneres criticized US Immigration and Customs Enforcement while praising demonstrators she said had ‘been hurt just for protesting.’
The remarks appeared to reference 37-year-old Renee Good, a Minneapolis woman who was fatally shot by an ICE agent at a protest on January 7.
DeGeneres, who left the United States with her longtime wife, Portia de Rossi, in late 2024, appeared emotional as she addressed the situation directly.
‘Hey everybody I just wanted to say I am so sorry for what is happening in Minneapolis, and our country, really,’ she said. ‘But specifically, Minneapolis right now, because it’s where I shot my last stand up special. And everybody there couldn’t have been more lovely.’
She continued: ‘I shot it there because they said it’s the happiest city in America, and I found that to be true.’
‘So, my thoughts and my prayers are going out to everyone, and I’m proud of everyone who’s protesting peacefully, and I am sorry for anyone who has been hurt just for protesting, for doing what you should be doing,’ DeGeneres added. ‘Anyway, just sending love.’
